Software for electrical wholesalers and distributors
Sell wire by the coil or by the metre, keep MCBs, switchgear, fans and LED lighting in stock by godown, give dealers and contractors their own rates, and send goods on a challan before the bill. Tradeloom runs it from quotation to payment, with HSN on every line and a Tally export for your CA.
Items the way the electrical trade counts them
An electrical counter sells thousands of small items in different units, often to the same customer on the same bill.
Wire by the coil and by the metre
Give each item a main unit and alternate units with a factor. A coil of 90 m can be sold as a full coil or cut by the metre, and stock stays right in both. Each unit has its own decimal places, so 12.5 m is accepted and 12.5 pieces is not.
MCBs, switchgear, fans and LED
Boxes of 10 sold by the box or by the piece, fans and fittings by the piece. Each item carries its HSN code and GST rate, and every invoice line carries the HSN, so your GST returns have what they need.
Stock per godown Growth
Keep stock by godown, see what is where, and move goods between godowns with stock transfers. Starter covers one location.
Dealer and contractor rates Growth
Keep a price list for dealers, one for contractors and one for walk-in customers. Give a large customer their own list, and set the date a new rate starts so the old one stays on old bills.
Challan first, invoice after
Electrical goods often go out to a site or a dealer before the bill is made. Tradeloom follows that order instead of forcing an invoice first.
-
Orders
See what is still to deliver, item by item
A confirmed quotation becomes a sales order without retyping. For each item the order shows the quantity ordered, sent on challans, invoiced and still pending, and the pending orders report lists every open line across customers.

-
Deliveries
Goods leave the godown on the challan
Send part or all of an order on a delivery challan, with transport details and the e-way bill number. Stock goes down when the challan is saved. When the month's deliveries are done, bill several challans on one GST invoice.

Credit and payments by dealer
Credit limit and credit days
Set a credit limit and credit days for each dealer and contractor. Outstanding shows who owes what and against which invoice, and party statements are ready to send.
Returns, receipts and Tally
Credit notes when goods come back, receipts recorded against invoices, and a Tally XML export of sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journals, with ledgers and stock masters, for your CA to import into TallyPrime. The Tally export is on every plan.
Built for the Relief Road electrical market
Tradeloom is made in Ahmedabad, and the electrical wholesalers around Relief Road are one of the markets it is built for: many small items in many units, dealers and contractors on credit, and goods sent out on challans across the city before the bill is made. Support is by phone, WhatsApp and email, in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
Questions from electrical wholesalers
Can I sell wire by the coil and by the metre?
Yes. Give the wire a main unit and an alternate unit with a factor, for example a coil of 90 m. You can then sell a full coil or cut lengths in metres, and stock is kept right in both. Metres can take decimals; pieces cannot.
Can dealers and contractors get different rates?
Yes, with price lists on the Growth plan. Keep a list for dealers, one for contractors and one for walk-in customers, give a large customer their own list, and set the date each new rate starts.
Can I bill several challans on one invoice?
Yes. Goods go out on delivery challans, and stock goes down when each challan is saved. You can then bill one challan or several on a single GST invoice, and each challan shows what has been invoiced and what is still to invoice.
Does it keep stock for more than one godown?
Yes, on the Growth plan: stock by godown and stock transfers between godowns, with 3 locations included. Starter covers 1 location.
