Software for hardware, sanitary and tool traders
Sell screws by the box, fittings by the piece and nails by the kilogram. Keep stock by godown, give regular customers credit and know who owes what, and bill factory buyers with their PO number and GSTIN. Tradeloom runs it from quotation to payment, with HSN on every line and a Tally export for your CA.
Thousands of items, each in its own unit
A hardware counter sells taps, pipes, fasteners, hand tools and sanitary ware, often to the same customer on the same bill.
Pieces, boxes and kilograms
Give each item a main unit and alternate units with a factor: a box of 100 screws sold by the box or by the piece, a packet of 10 hinges sold by the packet or loose. Each unit has its own decimal places, so 2.5 kg of nails is accepted and 2.5 taps is not.
HSN and GST rate on every item
Each item carries its HSN code and GST rate, and every invoice line carries the HSN. CGST and SGST, or IGST for a buyer in another state, are worked out from the place of supply.
Stock per godown Growth
Keep the shop and the godown as separate stock locations, and move goods between them with stock transfers. Starter covers one location.
Margins by item
Record purchases from your suppliers through purchase orders, goods receipts and purchase bills. The item margins report then shows what each item earns.
Credit customers, without the notebook
Plumbers, contractors and regular shops buy on credit. Tradeloom keeps the account for each of them.

Bill
A GST invoice with the tax worked out
Bill GST-registered buyers and unregistered customers from the same system. Each line carries the item's HSN code, and the tax is split into CGST and SGST, or IGST. Goods that come back go on a credit note.

-
Collect
Credit limit, credit days and what is still due
Set a credit limit and credit days for each customer. Record each receipt against the invoices it pays; a settled invoice leaves the outstanding list, and party statements show each customer what is still due.

Built for supplying GIDC buyers
Tradeloom is made in Ahmedabad, and hardware and tool suppliers to the factories in Naroda, Vatva and Odhav GIDC are among the businesses it is built for. Note the buyer's purchase order number on the sales order, send goods on a delivery challan, and bill one challan or several on a GST invoice with the buyer's GSTIN. Transport details and the e-way bill number go on challans and invoices on every plan; e-way bill files for the GST portal are on Growth.
Your CA gets a Tally XML export of sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journals, with ledgers and stock masters, to import into TallyPrime. The Tally export is on every plan.
Questions from hardware traders
Can I sell by the piece, the box and the kilogram?
Yes. Give each item a main unit and alternate units with a factor, for example a box of 100 screws. You can then sell a full box or loose pieces, and stock is kept right in both. Kilograms can take decimals; pieces cannot.
Can I give credit to regular customers?
Yes. Set a credit limit and credit days for each customer, record receipts against the invoices they pay, and see outstanding by customer and by invoice. Party statements are ready to send.
Can I bill factory buyers with their PO number?
Yes. Note the buyer's purchase order number on the sales order, then bill on a GST invoice with their GSTIN. Transport details and the e-way bill number go on challans and invoices on every plan, and e-way bill files for the GST portal are on Growth.
Can I see which items make money?
Yes. Record purchases through purchase orders, goods receipts and purchase bills, and the item margins report shows what each item earns. Reports export to Excel on every plan.
